Mother Bear Project--An Amazing Organization

Mother Bear Project is one of the best organizations I know of.

If you never heard of the Mother Bear Project, it is where you can knit or crochet a teddy bear, and then have it sent to an African child who is affected by HIV/AIDS.

This is great because it gives children hope, it shows them that they are thought of and loved.

I heard about this organization from a local knitting store, when I first started knitting. I decided to make one, and I think it took me about a month or so.

It took me that long because I was just starting out with knitting, and had some trouble figuring parts of the pattern out. But, I got it in the end, and my bear turned out really well.

Here is a picture of me with the finished product:

I hope to make more in the future, as I love making teddy bears, and I love giving children something they can call their own.

Feel free to check out the Mother Bear Project website for information, and to see how you can help out as well. I think you'll be glad you did.

Well, that's all for now. More to come later.
