I just saw this article on MSN.com, about an ex-wrestler taking care of his disabled daughter. It just goes to show that there are still good people in the world.
People with disabilities need as much, if not more, love, caring and compassion as everyone else. They are not weird, or freaks, or evil. They want to be treated like everyone else. They want to be treated as human. With respect.
I love hearing about people who care for and talk to people with disabilities like they are important. Because they are important.
They deserve the best in life, and sometimes, they don't always get it. And that is not good. I wish there were more people as amazing as this dad (and mom). Then the world would be a little better off.
They have their own blog, discussing everything they are going through as a family. You can find it here, if you would like to follow them.
Well, that's all for now. More to come later.
