Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I, I will be here
If in the dark we lose sight of love
Hold my hand and have no fear
'Cause I, I will be here
I will be here when you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind, I will listen
And I will be here when the laughter turns to crying
Through the winning, losing, and trying, we'll be together
'Cause I will be here
Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I, I will be here
As sure as seasons are made for change
Our lifetimes are made for years
So I, I will be here

What All Girls Need to Know
important facts of Love & Life
If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.
If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
Allow your intuition(or spirit) to save you from heartache.
Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that's not meant to be.
Slower is better.
Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't be friends
A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend. Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
Don't stay because you think it will get better
You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.
He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, Why would he treat you any differently?
If he is still friends with his ex, he must be confused. A man who respects you would never stay 'friends' with his ex.
If his ex is sticking around, she is probably the 'back-up' plan, don't let him deceive you like that...move on to a man that would never dream of replacing you
Never stay with a man that doesn't appreciate you, if he doesn't appreciate what you do for him now, what makes you think he ever will?
Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.
If something bothers you, speak up.
Never let a man know everything, he will use it against you later.
You cannot change a man's behavior, change comes from within.
Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are... even if he has more education or in a better job.
Do not make him into a quasi-god.
He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
Never let a man define who you are.
Never borrow someone else's man.
If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
All men are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is two way street.
You need time to heal between relationships... there is nothing cute about baggage... deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship
You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.
Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.
Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where you are, and your always readily available to him- he takes it for granted.
Never move into his mother's house.
Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.
You'll make someone smile, another rethink her choices, and another woman prepare.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and an entire lifetime to forget them.

School Update
Last Friday was my first day of school. It went pretty well. We watched a couple videos about chocolate making, and the teacher gave us samples of different types of chocolate. It is supposed to be a four hour class, but the teacher let us out after two hours. That was fine with me, though. I had stuff I needed to do.
Yesterday, I went to school to get my uniform for the class. It actually isn't a bad uniform, so I won't mind wearing it. Except maybe the pants. The pants are checkered black and white. I don't have problems with the colors, just the pattern. But I'll get used to it. Today, my mom took me to Bed Bath and Beyond to get some other materials for the class.
I need a candy thermometer with a probe, 2 plastic/rubber spatulas, an offset spatula, and a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. I got the plastic spatulas and the offset spatula, but the store didn't have the other stuff I needed. I'll have to either go to school to get the rest of the stuff, or some other store that carries that stuff. I need them for this Friday's class, so I will have to get going real soon.
I can't wait to start making stuff in this class. It seems like a lot of fun. I just hope it isn't too difficult. If it is, and I can't handle it, I'll probably have to drop out. But it's only once a week, so I don't think it will be too bad.
Well, that's all for now. More to come later.

School Starts Tomorrow
I can't believe school starts tomorrow. I kind of wish I had more time to prepare for school, but I guess I need to start sometime. Plus, the class I'm taking is only once a week, so it won't be as stressful on me as other classes could be. I just hope I don't have panic attacks during class, since it's a 4 1/2 hour class. I've been dealing with depression/anxiety/panic attacks for a few years now, and last semester, I had problems with panic attacks.
Though, even with the emotional stress, I still did well last semester. I got straight A's, which, of course, I was happy about. Though, I was kind of surprised. I didn't expect straight A's. But I'm happy. I hope I do well in this coming class, as well.
I've been looking for a job to have on the days I'm off, as well. I really hope I get a job soon. I really need the money. And something to do. Right now, the closer to home the job is, the better, since I don't have a license and a car yet. When I have the money, I'm going to get a license, so I don't have to be so dependent on others.

4 Days and Counting
School starts in 4 days, for me. I am excited/nervous/anxious. I don't know what will happen, since it is a 4 1/2 hour-long class, and I've been dealing with some emotional stuff lately. So I don't know how I would handle that long of a class. But, I'm looking forward to the class.
I've been applied to a bunch of places for jobs, over the last week or 2. I really hope I get a job soon. I need the money. And the job. The first thing I want to get after I get a job is a cell phone. I really need one.

Goings On
I have started applying for jobs for the fall, and possibly spring. I have applied to about 10 different places, and still looking at others. I really hope I get a job soon, as I really need the money. Please, hire me!!!! Right now I am looking at a 2 mile radius, but I will look further than that if I need to.
I can't believe school starts soon. I start school on September 10. Most of the other students started on Monday. I am kind of glad I didn't start then. I need time to get ready, physically and emotionally. I am taking one class, once a week. It is called Chocolate. I think it is a class where we work with chocolate, and learn about all the ways we can work with it.
I am really looking forward to the class. Seems like it will be fun. The thing I am not looking forward to, howerver, is the length of the class. It is 4 1/2 hours long, which I really don't like. But, as it is a class about one of my favorite foods, I will live.

Long Overdue Post
ostWell, not too much has gone on. I had 2 different dentist appointments last month, to get cavities filled in. That actually stressed me out a little. I had to have nitrus oxide, to calm me down. I am sooooo glad that's over with!!
My niece's birthday party was August 8th. I had a good time. I can't believe she's 3 years old already. It seems like yesterday that she was just a baby. I can't wait to start taking her, and her brother, places.
I will be taking a chocolate class in the fall. I am really looking forward to it, since I LOVE chocolate!!! The only thing I don't like about the class is that it's 4 1/2 hours long. But I'll live. It's a class on something that I love, so I'm happy.
I start on September 10, which is probably a week or two later than most other classes start. I'm happy about that. It gives me more time to prepare. Another thing I'm happy about is that there are no required books for this class, so that's one less thing to pay for.

My Life
Yesterday, I got home from a disability leadership summit. I had a lot of fun, although I had a couple stressful times there. But I had a good time overall. We had workshops that taught us what services there are for us, our rights as people with disabilities, we had a pizza/bowling party (I got a score of 93; I got a strike and 2 spares), a dance, and an awards ceremony. It was a lot of fun. Too bad this was the last summit ever. The person funding this (and other stuff too) decided to cut the summit, which really stinks. This summit is a great way to learn about everything to do with disabilities, and it's a great way to have fun and meet new people. One of the mentors went around getting signatures, to keep the summit going. I really hope it gets to stay. I love going to the summit. We'll see what happens soon enough. Although I had a lot of fun there, I'm glad I'm home. I really wanted to be with my mom, since I'm going through a rough time emotionally. But I had to tough it out, and thankfully, I got through the last few days without much incident. Not much else is going on right now. Just relaxing at home.
Well, that's all for now. More to come later.

Update of My World
I hope all the mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. For Mother's Day, my parents and I went to a brunch buffet a nearby university was hosting. It was really nice.
Today, I found out I get to volunteer with a day camp, as a photographer. I am sooooo excited!!!!!!!! The camp is the third week of June.
This month is my nephew's fifth birthday, and a birthday party for my grandma. I can't believe my nephew is almost five already. It seems like yesterday he was born.
My grandma lives in another state, so I have to do some traveling. I can't wait to go to the party.
This week is the last week of the semester, which I am so happy about. This has probably been the most stressful time. Wednesday and Friday are my last days of school.
Wednesday is part one of my last final, and Friday is part two of the final. I don't know why it's split in two, but I can't wait for it to be over. Although I'm glad school is almost over, I can't believe it's over.
Time went by fast. Next semester, I'm hoping to take a chocolate class. This class is one day a week (Friday), which will be easier on me. Although, the class is four hours long, which I don't like.
