Things That Made Me Happy in August

Here is what made me happy this month:

• A girl saying hi to me, and asking what my name is, while I was shelving movies
• Seeing hummingbirds at our hummingbird feeder
• Getting a kiss, and getting to pet, a therapy dog that came to the library, that kids got to read to
• Getting beads from the summer reading program stash
• Seeing a hawk while on my library home delivery route
• Going to a local summer festival

August was much more quiet of a month for me, which I needed after the events from May, June and July.

I am absolutely fine with this list, as it means things are slowing down for me, at least for a while, which is nice.
