What we have in common
Is that we are all human
That we all have feelings and emotions
That no one is exactly alike
That everyone is beautiful
In their own way
But it is common these days
For people to think
That those who are different from them
Don't deserve to live the life
That they want to live
That they don't deserve the same things they do
We need to realize that
Each life is supposed to look different
From one another
And that each person is worthy
Of living their life
We all have the common yearning
For being loved
And for loving others
And we all need to be open
To caring for others as well as
For ourselves
We are all human
We all need love
And empathy
And people we can count on in life
