Today is New Year's Eve. Tonight, my family and I are going to have appetizers (shrimp, cheese and crackers, etc.), and watch celebrations on TV. Unless, that is, one of my friends invites me to his house for a celebration. I will see tonight what my final plans are for New Year's.
Yesterday, I used my Border's gift card to order a Harry Potter 2010 calendar, and the book Twilight. Hopefully it will get here sometime next week. I can't wait to get the stuff. I still have a few dollars left on the card, so I'll have to go to Border's, and see what else I want to get.
Well, that's it for now. More later.

My Day
Today, I went to the library, to pick up some pastry/cooking books I put on hold. I had to leave some there, because there were a lot of books, and some of them were quite big. I'll get the others another day. So, I pretty much got all the exercise I needed for the day.
We got some more snow today, which I'm not happy about. I do not like winter at all. I can't wait until spring comes, and the snow and ice melts.
As far as I know, for New Year's, my family and I are staying home, having appetizers, and watching New Year's shows on TV.

Girls' Day Out
Today, one of my friends and I got together to hang out. We went to Caribou Coffee, for a snack. I got a spicy chicken wrap and a hot chocolate. We then went to Border's to look around. I wanted to see if there is something I wanted, so I could use my gift card, but the stuff I wanted was too much, and I didn't have enough money for it. While there, I saw a girl I went to school with.
I hadn't seen her since high school, so it was a surprise to see her at Border's. But it was nice. We talked for a few minutes, and then went on our ways.
I can't believe 2009 is almost over. With all the birthdays, holidays, and what not, it went by too fast. For New Year's, I have a few resolutions I hope to keep. They are:
Clean my room and keep it clean
Become a vegetarian/eat healthier
Do better in school
I am going back to school this spring. I had to change my major, because my previous major, special education, was too much for me. I changed it to Hospitality. I am taking Success in College and Introdution to Hospitality. The Success in College class is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and the Hospitality class is on Wednesdays. I can't wait to start back at school. I am really looking forward to being a pastry chef in the future.
Someday in the future, I actually would like to open up my own pastry/chocolate shop/restaurant. I think it would be really cool to sell stuff that I have made, to people who are willing to try my work.
I am hoping to also get a job, on the days I'm not in school. I am looking at Petco, Coldstone Creamery, Walgreens, the library, Border's, Barbara's Bookstore, the theater, and a few other places. I really hope I get a job soon, because I really need the money.
I'm also wishing I had a boyfriend. I haven't had one before, since I wanted to concentrate on school. I still want to concentrate on school, but now I want to do that with a man by my side. I'm in my mid 20's, and thought it would be time for a serious relationship.
I'm also hoping that in the new year, I start going back to church every week. I haven't gone in a while, due to family and personal reasons. I miss going to church. My family and I used to go the the Christmas mass, which I loved to do. I really want to get back in touch with my faith, and with God. So, until then, I will pray, read my Bible, and talk to God.
That's all for now. More soon.
